Custom Log Work: Custom Adirondack-style Log Entryway in Gilford, NH; Custom log railings installed in Gilford, NH; Worked on an island in Big Moose, NY restoring an Adirondack Great Camp in the Covey style; Custom log work including a king-size log bed and two queen-size log bookshelf headboards for Van Aukens Inne, Old Forge, NY; Custom log railing and deck project on Fourth Lake, NY; Designed and built a custom log staircase for a house in White Lake, NY; Repaired and replaced log railings at The Albedor, a Great Camp in the Adirondack Mountains of NY; made a variety of custom log tables and a series of two hand-carved pedestal tables.

Caretaking for Adirondack camps, businesses, and homeowners including the services of lawn mowing, spring and fall clean-up, winterization, snowblowing, landscaping, roof and snow shoveling and grounds maintenance for 10 - 12 accounts while in New York and one account in New Hampshire.

Carpentry services: installations of jamb extensions and trim for windows, interior and exterior doors, including a job that needed to be mortised into an existing log home; sliding glass door installations without existing doors; winterization of a gazebo; custom woodwork installation; forming-up and pouring concrete steps; drywall installations - hanging and mudding;
also - completely restored a water damaged dining room to original condition including duplication of broken door fronts to match existing; remodeling of a colonial home; built a custom corner secretary desk, television stands, magazine racks, a brochure rack, and custom Adirondack frames for a local photographer.
Three complete bathroom remodels: plumbed and installed toilet, sink, and converted a closet to a shower stall and linen closet (tied into cast iron system); two installations of a full-size walk-in shower unit, jacuzzi tub, toilet and vanity. (one was tied into a cast iron system).
Three custom made kitchens: all lumber was hand-milled from rough to finish including assembly and installation of carcasses, cabinet doors, and finished with countertops.
Nine metal roof installations including re-design of a roof pitch, and a combination of metal and plastic roofing for a pavilion.
Worked on a 4,300-square foot Adirondack home on White Lake, NY as a subcontractor. Built and installed a custom kitchen, five vanities; designed and built a custom log staircase; hung all doors, installed all doorknobs, hinges; was main cut man for all fascia, soffits and interior walls and ceilings, pre-cut all rafters and interior wall framing.
Van Aukens Inne, Old Forge, NY - designed and built a wine rack and custom log work noted above.
Camp in Old Forge, NY - remodeled bathroom: installed lighted exhaust fan, new walls, ceiling; installed two new windows and replaced exterior siding; finished inside of room: walls and ceiling, enclosed the utility area, installed a subfloor and storm door.
The Albedor, a Great Camp in the Adirondack Mountains of NY - installation of an above-ground, outside hot tub, and log work as noted above. (Also - caretaking and restoration work from 1987 - 1992)
Northwoods Inn - Old Forge, NY - designed, built and installed custom shelves and cabinets.

Skills:
All phases of carpentry including concrete and foundation work, framing, exterior siding, roofing, finish carpentry including custom cabinetry, door and window installation, restoration work, remodeling, wallpapering, interior painting, tongue and groove and paneling installation, drywall installation, tile, linoleum, wood flooring and outdoor carpet installation; design and installation of waste systems, supply lines and baseboard heating; design and production of floating docks, bridges and miniature golf greens.

Log experience: the felling of trees, peeling of logs, curing logs, mortise work, log coping; design, production and installation of log structures and log furniture.
Plumbing experience: pvc, copper, galvanized pipe, cast iron pipe: including adapting new into old.
Electrical experience: minor electrical capabilities including wiring outlets, simple switches and installation of minor appliances and fixtures.
